Fall is most definitively my favorite season of all. But don't hold it against me if I say the same thing about spring in 6 months! I feel so inspired by the crispy morning walks in nature, the changing colors of the leaves and the prospect of spending several cozy evenings curled up with a good book and a nice cup of tee. "With changing seasons also comes new beginnings." I love to feel the atmosphere charged with new opportunities and adventures. It's probably what inspired me to create this new section on my website.

Next to photography, I've always loved writing in order to tell stories. So I wanted to welcome you all to my travel diaries, a little space on the Internet where I can share my thoughts and adventures. Some of you may already know but 10 years ago, before Instagram, I used to share my photographs on a blog called Impassioned Spirit. The title actually came from a quote in The Motorcycle Diaries (gosh I haven't seen this movie in ages). I chose to use again as it still pretty much represents my state of mind:

“What we had in common - our restlessness, our impassioned spirits, and a love for the open road.”

I'm passionate about discovering remote and unexpected places around the world and I've heard some of the most fascinating stories along the way. I tend to seek both the peace and quiet of nature and the thrill of new adventures. I always feel my best when I'm outdoors, away from loud and crowded cities, surrounded by beautiful landscapes and the unpredictability of nature.

Don't expect to find the usual tips and trick to plan your next vacation or what to do during your next citytrip. Don't expect traditional articles written using the usual SEO practices you can find everywhere on the Internet. Instead I will give you a peek into my own personal experience travelling to some of the most unexpected places in the world along with stories from the amazing people I meet along the way. These will my raw and unfiltered travel journals.

Hopefully they will broaden you horizons and inspire you to seek out adventures on your own.

On a more technical note, I've decided not to monetize this blog. Which means I will not be using Ad Sense and subject you to targeted ads to generate income for my content. I might, however, use affiliated links when writing about a particular product from time to time. In return I'll make a small commission if you decide to purchase that product. This will, of course, be clearly indicated.

If you want to support my work, you can buy me a coffee or purchase one of my prints.
